ABOUT ME

I, Latoya Alston, a born native of Durham, North Carolina that has a heart to help others in need.  Through learned experiences, I have gained the ability to view situations with an unbiased mindset, then extract the morals in a situation to use as instructions and opportunities for growth.​  I am, but not limited to, a Community Organizer, Community Consultant & Coach, Business Consultant, and Program Facilitator. 

 

Using Kingdom Building Principles, I am able to discern areas of improvement that produces growth and edification to people and companies.

As a Community Consultant, I edify and empower the people within Durham’s underserved neighborhoods.  I also assist with bridging the gap between communities and the resources needed for change.  Working with multiple organizations, public and political systems, communities, businesses, and community leaders, I use a collaborative approach to deliver equitable access to resources and services to the community in a way that will build community sustainability.
